Title: Petition to change the NHRA seat belt rule

Somebody posted this on the FE Forum, and I thought it was worth re-posting here.  Anybody who has taken a perfectly good set of seat belts out of their race car just to conform to the NHRA's 2 year limit on seat belt use can understand the reason for this petition.  The petition is to change the 2 year limit to a 5 year limit.  Go to the link below and add your voice to this issue; I did.  Thanks, Jay

Just signed it.  I was having work done on my race car roll cage, tubbs, etc., and the belts were still in the box.  By the time I got everything ready for test and tune, the date was almost expired.  A 5 year time limit is much more realistic.  Joe-JDC

Yeah, me too!  Be prepared for more petitions from that site.  I have already received 4 in just a few hours.  Had to unsuscribe from them to stop the excess mailings.  Joe-JDC

LOL!  I got that too; just got one to say thanks for supporting wind energy.  I did no such thing, of course; if I'm not burning fossil fuels, I'm not having fun...
