My 390 stroker weighed 490 pounds with aluminum heads and intake, water pump, FPA headers, and alternator. No starter or scattershield. Hope that helps - Jay

Thanks Jay it does , i am thinking about a coil over shock conversion and maybe trimming the shock tower s a bit , for room and the info helps choosing spring rates . To me thats small block weight area .. Bud

Yeah i think a stock fully dressed 352 is a hair over 700lbs so there is a lot of savings to be had there.

I just installed my Edel RPM Performer heads yesterday. With springs and valves they weighed 27 pounds. The old c4ae's with springs and valves weighed 47. That's 20 pounds a side.
I think the original intake weighed 85-90 pounds. The RPM performer was like 23ish??
Total saving of about 110 pounds.
Anyway.

Thanks Dave appreciate it .. Bud

FE is not that heavy. Closer to 620lbs. You are closer to weight of a 385 series engine.
