Title: Question about weight of a car

I looking at 69 Falcons cause part of me wants to leave my 54 stock. Just drive it regularly like I do and build FE hot rod/track car. Does anybody know what a 69 Falcon with full interior a FE with a toploader trans with maybe just a glass hood weigh??? My 54 weighs 3600 with me in it. Thanks

I would think you could get the car down under 2800 with a FE and aluminum heads, intake, C-4, aluminum driveshaft, aluminum radiator, headers, aluminum oil pan, fiberglass hood, corbeau seats, etc.    I fought that temptation for months, wish I had gone ahead and bought the '68 just for a test bed/race car.  Joe-JDC

Awesome that's a good street car/race weight to me. Just gota see what kinda deal I find on a body Thanks for the input
