Title: Center Squirter question
Post by: bsprowl on May 05, 2014, 06:50:28 PM
I have a Center Squirter Holley List Number 4223 (850 CFM) that I'm rebuilding.  I didn't find an accelerator pump discharge needle valve or a pump discharge check ball when I took it apart.

I just checked the Illustrated Parts & Specs book from Holley and neither is listed for any of the center squirter carb List Numbers: 4223, 4224 or 4543.

This just doesn't seem to be right.

Comments anyone?

Thanks,

Bob

I don't think Holley calls out all the hardware or "Loose" parts in the Spec manual. If you look you'll see for example the bowl screws aren't listed either. I believe I mentioned in the earlier thread, I sold my List 4223 center squirter years ago so I can't check, but my List 4543 center squirters use the common pointed check weight. I'm thinking it needs to be in there.
