SEE UPDATE BELOWI'ts a 1965 top oiler - it has the 4-bolt mounts - The block was blueprinted on cnc equipment by R.A.D. in palmer, MA (check them out on the web) and yes, they are experienced with FEs. I just picked up the completed short block last month. The block has 8 sleeves but has never been damaged (it was .060 when I got it) they did not go into water when they sleeved it. The water jackets have no corrosion. the bore is 4.25. it has a cast, non grooved crank that is .010/.010 and has been indexed and the strokes matched. the rods are C7AE-B magnafluxed with ARP 3/8 bolts. The pistons and rings are off the shelf wiseco flat tops (.016 in the hole) - The assembly has been ballanced. As mentioned, the short block was also professionally assembled - Its ready for your top end, valvetrain, and oiling system.
I'm pricing it at $3500 - thats right, for the cost of an unmachined aftermarket block you can have this professionally assembled complete short block (I have almost that much into the machine shop bill) I do not want to ship this, but will work with you if you want it - I may even be willing to meet up at or near the FE race & reunion. I also have a set of done CJ heads and a PI intake that I will sell at a great price either with the shortblock or after the shortblock sells.
