Title: Edelbrock port blending?

Can a Edelbrock Head be blended to 2.4/1.45 intake without the walls getting thin? Not sure how much material is there, was wondering if someone has taken the intake flange out that far at about a 1/4" in? Thanks Jon

 :-[  I spent 10 hours on mine waste of time burned 1 hole through it . went out a got me a blue thunder cj intake now for my hp heads
