Jesel Valvetrain has come onboard to be part of the 2014 FE Race & Reunion. They will be awarding one of their FE belt drive systems to the winner of the "Fastest Thunderbolt Standing" challenge. They will also be providing other items including Jesel gift certificates to be awarded to participants of this years event. Jesel will also have a display showing all of their FE products at this years event. It is very rewarding to have a company such as Jesel come to us and want to be part of our event.
Thanks goes out to these great supporters such as Survival Motorsport, Carl's Ford Parts, Jesel and all of those folks who have contributed to make this event so great!!!

That's cool, Jesel is top of the line stuff...

Pretty tough to beat that name right there, and very cool deal for the participants as well!

Jesel Sponsorship - Part 2 - Along with the FE Belt Drive System to the winner of the "Last Thunderbolt Standing" E.T. competiton. Jesel will also award the winner of all three racing classes (Pro FE, Hot FE & Cool FE) a $500 gift certificate. How cool is that? Thank you to Bob McDonald of Jesel for stepping up BIG time!

Boy, that looks like fun! Wish I could make it :(
-
i'd rather them make a serious rocker set for us.... well a complete valvetrain kit would be awesome...
-
I've got my rear suspension done, just finishing up my front suspension changes....car is detailed, truck is ready to roll, trailer just needs a couple tires. Now, if I just had some engine pieces to put back in that big empty hole :(
I've been planning on this all winter. Now I'm not even sure I'll have enough time....or if I'll even have my engine back before then, after nearly 4 months ???

This weekend, BE THERE!!!!
-
Even though I can't be there and it's a little far for me to go.... :-\
I did do my part and help sponsor the event. I know every little bit helps! I hope to be able to do more for them next year! So wish I could be there!!!

Thank you for your help Wes. I hope you can possibly make it to the event in the future. This event is only going to continue to grow as the years go by. Beaver Bob of Beaver Springs is more excited about this event then any other event he has and is committed to this event for the future.
In two years it has truely become a national event for all of us FE fans!!!

How about posting some results! I, like many... are very curious to see who the "Last Thunderbolt Standing" was, and how quick the ET to take it, along with how many cars in that class, any other details of note, etc.
Seeing how this was the Marquee class, and with the 50th Anniversary of the T-Bolt, why no info?

I don't know about specifics, but folks from Arizona, California and Manitoba qualify the whole thing as huge. I have never attended a better event, man the thing rocks. I spent some time talking with Beaver Bob, he had all the time in the world on this subject. Insisted next year was gonna be bigger and better than this year, don't know how. Chatted with Barry R, made plenty of connections, flat out never had a better time at the strip, anytime, anywhere. I will be there again next year. XR7, there were a ton of bolts and bolt lookalikes, the record holder was there too (but did not win). I do know that it was the driver that got the job done, too many capable cars to see it any other way. Pretty sure you can look the results up by now though.
