Ford factory cast headers "shorties" c1ae 9431 c. I am looking for the estimated value of the headers. On the right side header has been welded, has no more cracks.

I have seen nice sets go for $500-$700, so I would say yours is worth at least $400 - Jay

thanks jay love this web sight :) would like to trade my headers for a factory medium rise alum intake

Does anyone know if the shorty cast headers will fit a Galaxie with column shift auto trans and power steering? Would it require some tweaking or is it a "no way"? How about the long cast headers? I suppose the drivers side is the issue... :D
Thanks,
Bruce

On my 64 they go clear with column shift auto
But i have no P/S

Heo, just to confirm you're talking about the shorty headers on your 64 P code? I'm not too worried about the P/S, I think the head pipe could be routed around it...
Thanks,
Bruce

No problem with either. My last 63 had long tube cast headers w/ auto and PS, and my current 63 has shorties and the same setup.
