Love the altered wheelbase; right out of the '60s!  That thing needs some carbs or stacks or something coming up out of the hood.  Great car...

Dude, killer car. Looks angry just sitting there. Only one problem, not enough info or pics !!! Is it a straight axle? Driver or street strip?

Yeah, we want more pics!   :)

Nice car, is it a tribute to a real old racecar?

Is it a straight axle?

I sure hope it's a straight axle! Or his A-arms are pointing straight down :)

What wheels are those? They look like ET "Low Angle" wheels. I've been looking at them and the "High Angle" design for the drag tires I'm getting for my Mach 1. And yes, more pics please!

Yes it is a straight axle, not sure on the make of the wheels they were an e-bay find. The car is street driven and hoefully some strip action, I am just finishing it up. It isnt a tribute to an old car, just tried to build it to look like one raced in the 60s.

Thanks for the info and pics! I was wondering what you used for the straight axle and steering components? I also have a 65 post falcon that is going to be a straight axle as well. I have one from an old econoline  van I was going to Fab in but might be a lot easier to get a kit from speedway.

Nice falcon!  I have a altered strait axle 65 Comet that I race with the Southern Gassers.

My 65 Comet has an Econoline based axle and uses the stock Comet box with cross steer set up.

My front axle was a swap meet find, The guy thought that it was in a willys gasser, I gambled and bought it, it fit perfectly, we moved the stock steering box forward.

My buddy is doing a 62 falcon with Jeep Cherokee strait axle and we did the forward steering box like your car.

Thanks for the info and the extra pics guys, that's what I was looking for. The steering box up front and no shock towers or sheet metal sure helps for custom headers!
