Title: Wanted: 1964 427 single carb air cleaner or 390 HiPo type

Looking for the early type , not the later 289 HiPo type. Open element. 64 were chrome ,early 390 HiPo were painted. Let me know what you have. Thanks!

What exactly are you looking for? There were several different designs from 60-64, including chrome and painted.

I would like a '64 427 single 4v type ( C4AZ# ),and if not that, then the early HiPo 390 that had a larger diameter lid than the lower portion. I just do not want the Mustang HiPo 289 type ( C5ZZ # ) that is repopped. Please let me know if you have anything available. Thanks! Tim

Call Clyde in Mobile, AL 251-458-5001 I think he has what you want, Big chrome and cool with 390 hipo sticker. He also has early Ford aluminum single 4 barrel fe intake with the oil tube in the intake. These came off 63 Galaxie .
