Title: stock sohc heads valve length

can anyone tell me what the stock ford valve lengths are on the original ford aluminum sohc heads?the ones i bought new are 5.743 and the valves that came with heads are 5.565.big differance in lengths.
and second part of this with the comp vm series cams # 8566 what spring brand and seat/open pressures would you run with those.

5.745"/5.669".

Valve springs depend on a lot of variables.  That's not a very big cam, but it will depend on the displacement, what heads they're for, what rockers you're running, if it's a conical or dual, etc.
