Title: Ported TFS flow data

I know there are already flow numbers out there, but just another data point from another bench (SF600) to add to the pile.  Pretty standard stuff, picked up a bit starting at .400 on the intake side, picked up low lift on the exhaust.  Not really sure if my intended combo will make use of the extra flow, but it won't hurt.

That's a nice set of heads.  They will be hard hitting if you get the lift up there in the .630 range.  We saw a bit more on my bench and my porter's bench, they maxed out 360-367.

I just had to go out and see which bore adapter I had in mine, I have a 4.31 bore adapter and a real nice bolt on tapered radius plate.  Along with normal bench variation, I assume that's the difference

When you say ported, are they just cartridge rolled? And did you get before and after flow numbers or just after?

My BBM heads flow is almost identical

When you say ported, are they just cartridge rolled? And did you get before and after flow numbers or just after?

I bought them as is, so there are no “before” figures.  That said, there are plenty of guys who’ve shared flow figures for unported heads.  At the very least these are up 15-20cfm at higher lifts, good return for 5cc extra volume.  This isn’t a full effort porting job, the intent is to help them beyond the .600 stall inherent with the stock heads.

Sorry not familiar with your particular combo, are yours CNC ported.  I have BBMs on a 390, it’s good to have choices.

That's a great point, a 345-350 cfm intake port that's only 180cc makes for a fun engine.    The heads are a little small in volume when it comes to large displacement (>480-500ci) engines, but they rock the Earth on a 390-480ci sized engine.   I did a hydraulic roller cam for a 482 with unported TFS heads and a Tunnel Wedge and it made about 690 hp @ 6100 on pump fuel.
