Selling this because I have too many projects to do, and just don't have time to get to it. I listed it on FB Marketplace, but I'd much rather see it go to a forum member who will fix it up or drive it. Other than the pictures of the rust in the bed corners (outer sheetmetal only), this truck is EXTREMELY solid! NO holes in the cab or floorpans (picture looks worse than it is, there are no holes in the floor), cab supports, cab corners, window channels, roof rails etc etc. Paint is mildewed from sitting, but actually cleans up pretty decently.
This truck ran and drove, in fact I drove it home when my Dad bought it about 20 years ago. I drove it for a while before parking it for the winter one year, and it has sat since then, about 10 years ago. I have removed the carb to clean it out and get it running again, which I will do soon, but as of writing this, it is not running. Engine didn't smoke and ran fine.
Details: 1976 F100 Ranger XLT. 390 FE engine, automatic. Original AC truck, but compressor has been removed and I do not have it. Ran and drove good, but has been sitting for 10 years. Carb and brakes will likely need gone through. Undamaged grille. VERY solid truck. Only rust is at the rear corners of the outer bed. Inner bed floor and sides were lined years ago and are solid. No roof rail rust. Side trim is straight and perfect, as is almost every trim piece on the truck. Only body damage is a slight dent/scrape in passenger side of bed and the hood where snow fell off my roof and pushed it down. Not positive it can be fixed, but may be able to.
Excellent starting point for a restoration, or use as a driver. Clean title.
I have it listed on Marketplace for $7000. That is an asking price, but offers are welcome.

I always wanted an old pickup. Does look like a good starting point. Bad timing.
