I'm looking for a quality fuel pressure sensor that is 0-5V driven with a 1/8NPT fitting. I'm planning to use it to record fuel pressure data (<25psi) into my data logger so I can diagnose what I think is a low fuel pressure condition. Is there a favorite brand amongst the FE'r's here?

Funny you should ask, I just bought a new one to try out on my Mach 1. It's made by AEM Electronics, and Summit Racing sells them for around $60. I bought the 100 psi version because of the fuel pressures in the EFI system, but they make lower pressure versions also; see the link below. I'll be hooking mine up sometime in the next week and giving it a try; I'll let you know how it works out - Jay

Engineering minds think alike... do let me know how it turns out. I'll use the lower PSI version for my carb'd 428. I really like the idea of proving the failure before implementing the fix. ;)

I got this sensor wired up in a test fixture just to see what the voltages are reporting at certain pressures using a secondary mechanical pressure/vacuum gauge and a MityVac to introduce pressure/vac into the test fixture . The voltage scale is here: http://www.aemelectronics.com/files/info/30-2131-50.pdf
Mine reads 1.4v in open atmosphere when powered up. Odd. The function they list on the product page here shows (12.5*V)-20.95...so I'm reading around -3.45 psi in open atmosphere. I'm thinking I got a bum sensor, what are your thoughts?
I'm also contemplating picking up the 0-15 PSIG version of this sensor for reading carb fuel pressure as it would give a wider voltage scale.

Looks like you should be around 1.65V rather than 1.4. Definitely off somewhat...
