I am putting a Crown Vic front crossmember and suspension on my 78 F150. I plan to drop a 390 stroker in it. Nothing too high Performance just dependable and it’s gonna be more of a beater truck than anything. Looking to see what headers others may have used. I am also using the Outcast engine mounts. I saw a 10-year-old YouTube video with a similar installation, but they never mentioned which headers they used or make or application in the video. Thanks!

any headers designed to fit your truck will fit. the crown vic k member installation will not cause a problem. currently i'm working on my # 8 crown vic ford pickup install. like anything else the more you repeat something the easier it gets.

The only big concern is which headers to use depending on exhaust port location for the heads of choice...otherwise they will fit the chassis.

With your application, it sounds like the reproduction 428 CJ cast iron exhaust manifolds would be perfect. Easy installation, reasonable price, quiet, never rust out:
