Jay,
I'm trying to determine how much oil will pool up in my heads when using a Victor. I'm running the full pumpbuilder rockers with solid spacers and 2007 vintage Edelbrock heads.
I think the returns in the heads are sufficient, but I was wondering if you have run anything similar with your clear covers?
For those not familiar with the Victor intake, it has no passages for oilr return between the ports at the head interface.

I haven't run a Victor, the only intakes I've run with the clear valve covers are the Performer RPM and 351C Performer RPM on my intake adapter. But in both cases, with .070" restrictors in the heads and a high volume pump in my 428CJ, I've never seen the oil level come up to clear part of the covers; the factory drainbacks seem able to handle it with no problem. So I don't think the Victor would pose a problem for you.
With the cam in that engine I limit the dyno pulls to 5500 RPM. Today I am in the midst of my cam change, to a 294S, and hope to run some dyno pulls tomorrow up to 6500 with this cam. If I get that far I'll see if I can put my camera on the clear valve cover and record a video of the oil level during a dyno pull for you. That will be interesting...

Thanks Jay. Ironically, I'm currently changing the cam along with this intake change. Specs are similar to a 294S with a bit more lift and tighter LSA.
I look forward to your next round of flogging of the pump.
