I saw Scott Miller is running a '68 Mustang this year running in the 7s. Does anyone know the particulars on this car? I assume it is FE powered.

It is or atleast was a 762 cubic inch Sonny Leonard engine. Hemi heads, and as Sonny once said "You can call it anything you want", because no parts from any production engine will fit. I can say it had Ford Racing on the valve covers, when I saw it.

I watched him make a pass this morning (day 2) and he slowed way down. Ran a mid 9 and there was smoke coming out of the car towards the big end. Not a lot but enough that the announcers noted it.

Regarding that engine, from the location of the plugs, the heads would seem to be proprietary. I've never seen a MOtorPARts head with the plugs low like that. IT DOES SAY FORD ON THE ROCKER COVERS. :D ;)
