Its a driver, restored about 25 years ago. It show some wear but he use it every summer
Thunderbird 292, three on the tree with overdrive
Funny thing, his uncle bougt a Crown Victoria new early 57. Ford Sweden recieved a boatload unsold 56s between
christmas and new year they sold them as 57s. Many of them was skyliners and several was sold in my onehorse town
This guy who was a little kid then though, when i grow up and get a driverslicense im going to buy a new Crown vic me to.
He said it was like a spaceship in contrast to all black Volvo 444 and militarygreen SAAB Djungeldrums
when he got a licens he could just afford a 56 customline 40 years later he bought this one and found out later it was his uncles car

Then wife and i had a small roadtrip

Mostly with shovels wheelbarrows, manpower and dynamite
Then improwed during the war, by Comunists and other elements that was considered a safety risk to have in the Army.
So they where interned in special work camps

56 was a real step forward for Ford. 1st year for 12v. and the best looking dash ever, right up to today. Nice car.
