Has anyone used a 385 dampener on a FE?
I'm considering doing this. I've never been into 460 so, I not familiar with the difference between the dampeners. It looks like it could be done though.

yes,they are.

I believe I have a factory one I would send it to you for shipping .Those 460 dampers are much bigger in diameter than a FE version .If interested let me know I will check to see if I still have it.

Yes you can. I’m currently using one. I’m using an aviad spacer with a dry sump drive, so I had to machine that to fit. It may work with a stock 385 spacer. And of course verify tdc and timing marks

Thank you, I have conformation on another forum that it will work, too.
Regarding spacers and pulley alignment, I make my own so, that isn't a issue.

Fluidamper uses the same balancer for FE and 385 series, it includes a spec for shortening the spacer.
