That green looks good on those Fairlanes.

What a difference in bids between the R and W code cars, and the 67 W code is more rare than the 66 R code--but that R code does demand attention.

To honest there are so many things that are wrong with this car I am surprised he doesn't lower the reserve.
It needs at least $20-30k in correct date coded parts.

What parts would that be?
Car did sell though.
They worked something out. So it sold I'm sure above 127K.

Just a couple things I noticed, the engine block has a 1971 casting date, and the rear end pumpkin has a 1969 casting date. Not surprising since it looks like the car originally had a race history. But that’s the kind of stuff that make some cars worth much more. And the seller didn’t try to hide that in the pictures.

Yes the 71 block, 68 bell housing, missing the SPEC case, 8K dash tach, probably the 67 31 spline axles, can't tell if the it has the the correct axle housing, wrong intake manifold, not sure if its missing the transistorized ignition.
A few things to start with.

OK, I might have been thinking about the 66 that just sold on BAT.
10/4 on everything, looks like a plug in the rear of the housing so probably correct, ignition?
I do believe the sidewinder is correct though for a 67 W code.
