Title: Spark plugs for BBM heads
Post by: bsprowl on March 13, 2024, 09:28:36 PM
I paln to CC my BBM heads but then realized they use a smaller spark plug than the one in the stock heads.

So what plugs shold i be getting for track use.

And I just realized the plugs I've been saving (including a a set or two of Holley spark plugs) will be of no use to me - lol.

Cheap, Autolite 3924
More expensive, NGK BKR6E

I run the NGK BKR6E seems to work well for me with 11.3/1 CR

What's the compression ratio gonna be?

Compression ratio is unknown, that's why I'm ccing the heads.  I'm guessing 10.5, hoping for 11.5, would be delighted with 12.5.

The plug will depend on the compression ratio.  I run 10-11 on Autolite 3323’s and 3324’s.  Higher than that, I usually switch to a colder plug, like a 3910 or similar.
