Heres what i know about this block. I purchased it in 2000 and it was std bore. I brought it to the machine shop to be completely gone thru. It was Cleaned, Bored .030. Torque plate honed, Zero decked, New Cam Bearings, New freeze plugs, Screw in plugs in the oil galleys, all oil mods done, And the water jacket filled to the water pump holes. I still have the reciept for this work. It also has ARP Main studs. It was assembled and ran for about 2 hours total, just tuning it. Never raced it at all. After that lets just say “Life Happened”. And it sits here today completely disassembled but in very good/preserved condition. I think all this block needs is a good cleaning and its ready to run. No corrosion on any of the machined surfaces ( its still has oil/ corrosion proofing all over it and has been stored in double plastic bags indoors) The cylinders look outstanding with a nice crosshatch pattern, and even the paint looks pretty decent. This is a C scratch block with the extra webbing on the mains. The only numbers cast into this block are the date code near the oil filter adapter. That date code is 9C7 with a capitol E above it. No partial vin stamped anywhere that i can see although it could be painted over. I’m asking $3500 for it. Located in central Connecticut. Text me at 203-560-5633 and i’ll send you all the pics you want. Willing to drive it within a couple hundred miles if you pay for the fuel.
