Title: What pulleys were on a 427 sohc
Post by: 1932fe on July 23, 2013, 12:20:47 AM
Hi
Wondering what front pulleys on the water pump and crank, only looking for single grove ones  were on the 427 sohc , as am looking for stock or similar stock for the coupe engine, I have heard  61-62 thunderbird , as well as 61-62 galaxies, anyone have some insight to this, As cant run after market  ones as not the right look for engine style.
Thanks Paul

I know the WP is 61 T-bird. I was going to build a cammer one day but have decided to go full tilt wedge. With a help from a few friends :)

Hi
Yes I am building  one as far as all the outer dimensions are concerned , as we have very little room so I need to know all external measurements to see how the engine sit in the rails,  Have so  far seen we may have to change steering box. Barry R  is going to do the final  build for me.
