Besides the obvious is there any difference in the construction of aftermarket solid and hydraulic roller lifters, particularly in the roller? I am considering changing from a solid roller to hydraulic roller cam in my BBF. I currently have the Comp Endura roller lifters with the EDM oiling to the roller. I read somewhere that Comp recommends replacing their solid roller lifters every 7500 miles. Just wondering if the construction of the hydraulic roller lifters give them a longer life span. Thanks!

A hydraulic roller lifter will always live longer (much, much, much longer) because they don't see the spring loads that a solid roller lifter sees and they don't have lash. The combination of lash and spring load is what makes a solid roller lifter fail.
A hydraulic roller lifter will pretty much live indefinitely.....think of how many 5.0 Mustangs and Explorers that have 100-200k miles on them.

I understand that on OEM applications. Is the roller construction of Comp(as an example) the same on their solid and hydraulic roller lifters?

For the most part. I don't use Comp lifters, but the wheels and needle bearings should be similar.

For hydraulic roller, I use Morel. For solid roller, I either use BAM or Morel.

I've had good luck with Howards solid rollers in my 351Cs. I use the pressure oil models. Some of the Comp units are splash only, I'd for sure stay away from those. IIRC the Howards are rebuildable. I check mine every year - on a 351C 9.2 deck you can just lift them out without pulling the heads, so easy off season check.
