Title: Meltdown Drags Byron, Il July 19-21

Is anyone on the Forum planning on attending the Byron, Il Meltdown Drags on the 20th and 21st. I'll be taking my 57 Fairlane 410ci.

There should be about 10 Ford Y block guys racing,  feel free to join us .  Mostly 55-57s.  We do match race with the club that puts on the event. It ends up being mostly a Ford vs Chev deal.. There is prize money for anyone who takes out a  "scrub"

Tom Drumnand said the same thing. The scrub deal interests me also, Tom didn't tell me about that. I'd like to line up with a 57 Chevy 350ci. Jim

I had been planning on taking my 56 gasser project but, family priorities have slowed the project and I will not be able to go this year.....

I may be able to drag my street Fairlane out there on Sunday, weather permitting.
