Title: Hood caddie
Post by: AlanCasida on August 03, 2023, 04:21:11 PM
I got a little bored today now that my '67 F250 is pretty much done so I built a hood caddie for the shop using scrap stuff I had laying around. It works in conjunction with the one man hood removal/installation fixture I have for my cherry picker. I should have built this a long time ago.

Alan, that's a great Idea.

Could you also show us more detail on your hood installation tool?

As much as it pained me to pay for something I could have built, I bought it from Summit. It worked great on that heavy and unwieldy '67 F250 hood.
