Title: Cruise-O-Matic
Post by: GA445 on July 24, 2023, 07:53:07 PM
Have a 63 Box top with a cruise-o-matic, looking for someone in the Northeast Georgia area who can do a rebuild. I would also be interested in purchasing a new rebuild yes, I know put a cC6 in it, but I would like to keep the cruise-o-matic.

Am in Texas and all I knew that rebuilt COMs have retired and no one else works on them

Have you considered rebuilding it yourself ??

Parts should be available from FATSCO.
They specialize in vintage transmissions.

I still rebuild these and many other vintage automatic transmissions as well.

Recently did an old Ford 2spd for a Mercury Turnpike Cruiser.
(I forget the year, customer just dropped off the trans, I want to say it was a 59 but old guy memory.....)

I'm in Canada so you probably don't want to ship the trans way up here.....
