Apparently they don't know about my FE heads ;D

It's got all the hot rod stuff in it.
I don't know Jay, that sounds pretty intimidating. ;)

Not to burst his bubble, but I have reworked TFS FE heads to flow 360/240 @.700", and that is with 2.190" intake valves. I have never needed to flow them up to 1.000", but for the price he charges, I will stick with the Summit variety and finish them myself. Jay's heads are about 100 cfm better with a 2.350" intake valve. Joe-JDC

My comment, above, was a bit tongue-in-cheek. And the others of you seem to be saying exactly what was in my own head. On the other hand, he did make a significant effort. Consider what he started with.
Long ago, the Smith Bothers offered Ford folks a significant benefit when they produced the first aluminum aftermarket heads---for the 385 series.
Jay's efforts put everyone else in the shade, when it comes to the FE.

Big TFS fan. Joe has ported some TFS heads for me that have done some great things. My last 445 made ~620 hp with them, a 10.2:1 compression ratio, and a 6000 rpm peak with a Performer RPM. Joe is right, we get about 360 cfm @ .700" lift with a 178cc port, and a 2.190" intake valve.
Always cracks me up to hear people talking, who are not FE guys, about FE stuff. They have no clue that other guys build nothing but FE's for a living.

We, as a collective group of builders, have been in the 360+ range on traditional FE wedge heads for well over a decade, using a variety of castings.
The Blue Thunder high riser castings - while as rare as "hen's teeth" these days - had exceeded 400 from multiple sources.
