Nice.  Single carb 200 MPH+ not uncommon in Top Dragster.  Not just the ProCharger motors having to pull timing to stay above the 6.10 ET limit.

Except this is a naturally aspirated 499 cube engine. pretty uncommon if you ask me.

Agree - and that any Ford engine running those times is unusual - everything in fast dragsters is just about BBC based.  And usually in the 560~600+ CID range.  My dragster is down but will be back up soon with 427 SBF power.  If it makes what I think - with minimal effort - it should be 150~160 in a full quarter. People walking through the lanes are guaranteed to stop and look, very few Fords out there.  It's good to be different.  8)

Yeah, theres a guy up here that runs a rear engine dragster with a 351W in the 8.90 Super Comp class, as well as a FOX Mustang with a 351W in 10.90 Super Street. That 351W looks tiny compared to all the BB Chevys in all the other dragsters.
