Any ideas on headers to fit my 79f150 2wd with 390 and edlebrock performer rpm heads? Everyone's header flanges are for stock fe truck heads.

You can slot the header flanges to move the tubes up so they fit. There's a picture of this in my Car Craft article; see the link below.

Not many solutions beyond what Jay said now. I have a customer who used Flowtech and claimed the machined surface (as opposed to a raised welded ring) matched well to a set of C4s but I cannot verify

My truck is a '74 F350 2wd with an FE and Edelbrock heads(#60065). My headers are the Tri-Y style from FPA. They fit the Ed head ports correctly. I ordered them in 2014 and I do remember him asking what heads I was running. I am happy with them. Good fit and no clearance problems on my truck.

As Erich mentioned, FPA offers all of their FE headers with whatever port height/bolt pattern that you require. Seems most other header companies are not aware, or simply don`t care about such things.

I used Sanderson shorties for my BBM heads with a Cobrajet style exhaust port. The FF427 shorties on their website don't have the four bolt flange that came on mine. I don't know if they dropped the side bolt holes or if it is an incorrect image.
Mine were an easy fit.
