I've got a couple of SOHC water pumps I'd let go. These were manufactured by Paul Munro and are duplicates of the originals, except for the plate bolted on the back. They are new, never used. $475 each + shipping. Let me know if you are interested and I'll post some pictures.

Pics are below. They have been sitting on my shelf for about four years so there is some surface rust on the steel parts. One thing you should know about these water pumps is that the backing plate used is TOO THIN. See the 3rd photo. It should be replaced with a factory style steel backing plate for any FE engine, which is more rigid, or with a thicker steel or aluminum plate. These pumps reportedly leak out the backing plate at high engine speeds; apparently the pressure waves inside the pump will distort the thin steel plate that is on there, and cause leaking at the gasket. Replacement of this plate results in a perfectly good pump, with a stock SOHC appearance. Email me if you want one or two of them; I have four, and am keeping two of them for myself. Those shorty headers look really good... Nice job restoring them. Is there any reason not to use them or any cast iron manifold with alum heads? Assume you would use a gasket between them?
