Title: Childs and Albert replacement capscrew torque specs

I have a st of leMans rods with C&A cap screws any idea of torque numbers

I`m running 2 motors with the Lemans rods and I seem to remember torquing them to the factory spec. I`m not sure it's been a while.

 That brings up another question, who carries the replacement rod bolts for these now? I have 2 more rod sets that need them.

Assuming your rods no longer have the tri-lobe interference fit thread and have been properly tapped to accept standard thread 7/16-20, ARP still sells the LeMans rod cap screw, available in packs of two or sixteen.  Torque settings/bolt stretch and other info available here:  https://arp-bolts.com/kits/arpkit-detail.php?RecordID=778

Faron, I always torqued mine to 75 ft. lbs and all was well. Hope this helps ................Tom

I have a NOS set of LeMans rods, can someone point me to the proper procedure for them?
