Title: Come on Guys, I need help: Where can I file Text that is under construction
Post by: Qikbbstang on June 25, 2011, 08:52:09 PM
I have windows 7 in a  nine month old model computer.  When I'm writting rewriting an on going project I use my Yahoo Mail and put it in 'drafts".  This works fine until all of a sudden everything in that specific draft disappears.  Long story short IF I mail it to myself and then add on more text I get another blasted blue line down the left margin each time I send & receive it adds more. I don't have Microsoft Word and am not happy shelling out $100 to buy the software just to store work in progress writting if I can help it.        There may be someplace in the furnished software/computer I don't know where else to look.
        What can I do?

BB, try Notepad.  It's a text editor that comes with Windows 7.  Start>Programs>Accessories>Notepad.  I use it for exactly what you are asking about - Jay
