Title: Factory rods - strength ?

what power level s for stock rods a 390 rod reconditioned with arp bolts , a cobra jet rod reconditioned with arp bolts ? . or up grade rods ..

You can have your rods recondition and have the center to centers done as well. BUT for the price, you can buy a new set of Scat Rods... I Beam or H Beams (cap screw rods) for about the same price. Thats up to you!

Stock rods, ARP Bolts with lightweight pistons would take a good 600~650HP (safe side).

yeah this short block is already together , with 390 rods beam polished with arp bolts . i have another 428 block so that will get the scat 4.25 inch crank with some h beam rods . thanks for the feed back ..
