A deal or not , an Edelbrock streetmaster for $ 75.00 , IT does nt look like its ever been touched , just a bit dirty . single plane vs dual plane ? ?
-
Single plane, small runner, small plenum, very good intake.
Some guys worry about it being single plane, but they were designed for the street. They work very well, and even better with a little grinding
-
I would jump all over that! Great price. Its a good intake for a mid FE build. If you dont like it..... You can more then double your money!
-
im thinking a good deal , maybe do little work on it and give it try .
-
That intake did extremely well in my intake testing on engines in the 375-500 horsepower range. At $75 its a steal...
-
yep its in the garage , is that hp figure before grinding or after ? and up to what cubic inch range ?
-
Anything over 400 HP the intake benefited from a port match to the heads, and also a plenum cleanup. Takes about an hour with a die grinder to get that done.

OK thanks Jayb . its shorter than the blue thunder in height , may be able to run a 1 inch 4 hole spacer and still use the shaker setup .
-
^^ Nice! You even beat the CL deal I got on my unmolested Stretmaster by $25.. grats! I was able to get a 1" spacer on mine by using an Edelbrock air cleaner that drops down a tad over the carb. Close.. but no contact with the hood.

thanks for the share d knowledge guy s , i may clean it up , port match and grind on it a bit and try it ..
