Title: Exhaust port spacing

Not sure if this would be allowed here,but does anyone know what the difference is in the exhaust port spacing between the FE and a 385 series header. Was thinking about swapping out the header flanges on a set of 460 headers to work on my 390 stroker

I don’t know if this will help you, but here’s a FE header gasket on a package of standard 429-460 header gaskets. The end ports are fairly close, the center ports have a bigger mis-match, but not too far off.

Yes sir, that does help,alot  thank you. Looks like,with a little heat and massage, it would work out

I have heard of a set of LS turbo (forward collector) headers being a close match also. Using a FE flange the primaries were 'massaged' to work.
