We are going with a higher capacity custom pan and have a leftover if someone is looking.  16-870 gold pan with 16-871 pickup.  Used but ready to run. 300 plus the ride for pickup and pan.  New prices, if they were available, would be about 450 with the pickup.

From Canton's web site

This deep rear sump pan is designed for increased oil capacity and oil control for Ford 332-428 FE truck applications. It can also be used to install FE engines in 79 and up Mustang and T-Bird applications. Check the dimensions of your application to ensure proper fit. It has an 8" deep by 7-1/2" long sump, with a 7 quart system capacity. This pan requires our 16-871 pickup.

Make an offer, nice pan for truck or Mustang 2.  Hate to Ebay if I can help it

Ross, how shallow is the flat center area from the pan rail, and how far from the front does the shallow section start?
