These were on 96 Mustang
The left front hit a curb, my Cousin is a certified welder and tigged it up
He did not polish it out
The wheel balanced out fine and was run for a few years with no problems
Tire held air and car was run up to 100 mph more than a few times
All wheels have some road rash on the outer lips
