Title: Hand crafted horse
Post by: fekbmax on May 21, 2018, 12:56:06 PM
I will be attending the funeral of one of my very best friends tomorrow. Ralph Rowland has been a great friend and a second father in some ways for the past 30 years or so. We raced together running his cars in top sportsman, southern outlaw pro stock, and mostly a ton of quick 16 races at several of the 1/8th mile tracks here in the south east. I have spent hundreds of hours just him and I in his old 1982 ford F250 dually dragging a heavy ol late 70's chaparral trailer up and down the east coast. Take a moment and check the link below to his cover and article in the December 2014 issue of RPM magazine. His car is on the cover and the article starts on page 58 -76.
RIP Ralph.. You will be certainly missed...

Sad, but true. fekbmax, sorry for your loss. One of my best friends and racing buddys was killed by a drunk driver almost 15 years ago, I still think of him constantly.

Sorry Keith, that’s a rough one.
That’s a beautiful car.
