Just a decent combo thats all

C6AE-R heads are a good starting point and all the alum Ford manifolds work real well up to about 5500 rpm.

Combined with the 410, should be a real nice motor for a pickup

You can not technically have a aluminum high rise intake and then just bolt it on a set of c6's.
The high riser is physically to tall at the valve cover rail for it to line up.
It is maybe a mid riser or a low riser.
What number is on the intake?

The c6 heads are a lot like Cobra Jet heads only with 2.02 stock intake valves.
A set of CJ valves and some rubbing will net some good gains.

I was referring to carburetor position, a lot taller than the old Holley intake I took off the 445.  It is also open plenum. I would thing a duel plane would have been the intake they would have used from ford but there it is. I added larger valves when I rebuilt the engine due to the hammered up seats. Went 030 over on the bore and installed a Lunati torque cam with 9.8-1 pistons. Everything else is bone stock down to the motor craft carb . What a torque monster that turned out to be.

OK being a noon I haven't figured that out yet on my smart phone. I do not own a computer as it would do me no good. I live on farm out in the middle of nowhere in northern IL. I'll give it a try phones are a little limited as to what they will do.

What is the part number on the intake? To my knowledge Ford didn't make a single plane 4v intake for low riser heads. It may be a PI intake with the divider cut out, or something similar?

Intake is as it came it has no grind marks or anything I am not sure of the part # but will try and locate it. I have had the truck since 1983 but haven't done much to it in recent years just waiting for the perfect deal on a cab and box.

It does have a small divider in the bottom about an inch tall then two inches open to the plenum part # c6ae9425-8 it appears to be a medium riser port much larger height and width than the four barrel heads that came off my comet. The comet engine was out of a 68 galaxy that's all the info the PO could offer me on that one. All the date codes match on the truck and I do know the history on that. It was owned by the Rock Island Railroad then my father purchased it from them we are the second owners.

What is the suffix on the intake? 8 wouldn't be correct. Could it be an E or H? Both of those would be a PI intake. Someone cut down the divider in the plentum, but it is a dual plane intake.

Should still work well on your application.

Sorry - h but no machine or grind work just rough cast and monster ports, bigger than my dual quad rpm air gap. It works good though it can yank a house down with that Dana 60 in there.
