Wow!

Way out of my price range but I would bet he gets it.

I'd bet $100 bucks its all repop stuff.

Agree with Jack. The finishes are way too clean and bright to have sat in a box for 50+ years.

The heater hose fitting is facing the wrong way for NOS. Just an observation. Joe-JDC

Just a guess, but I wouldn't count it as fake unless you knew for sure. That fill tube does not look like a re-pop, and it does have patina (scratches and knicks) to it. Of course it could be an NOS tube in a re-pop intake. The carb linkage adjustments have the locking dabs on them, although I suppose that could be faked. There is age staining to the front of the intake, on the cast surfaces, much like I've had and seen on NOS intakes. In fact, I've had this same intake, NOS in the box, and it was in the same condition, with the machined edges still looking like new. Mine was just the intake, so it did not have the tube and all the extra goodies, but I had NOS carbs in separate boxes. That was before they were re-popping either of them. If kept in the right environment, they will retain that new look, although with a little bit of age staining like this one has on the aluminum surfaces. The only thing that makes me think it might possibly be a re-pop is the fuel log. That zinc dichromate surface is hard to maintain a perfect finish on, especially on steel. Not saying that this is for sure NOS, just that I wouldn't call the guy a liar without more proof. But as always, buyer beware.

It's in the Ford box. Very Very strong suggestion it is legit.
Is it worth it...for the right car Yes.
But you better ask a lot of questions.

once you bolt it on is it still nos ?

It's in "A" Ford box, I look at tons of parts and I'm almost certain that it's repop stuff.

I think Blue Thunder cleans up the intake ports on their manifolds with a cartridge roll before they send them out. A picture of the ports would clear up if it's NOS or a repo real quick.

Did anyone notice the front carb has a choke plate? I thought all factory carbs did not have chokes, correct me if I`m wrong.

Yes, the front factory carbs had chokes.
