Nice work..
is that a GZ vac pump. ? How about the mounting bracket, is that a custom made piece ? Need to fab up a mount for my setup or modify one to work.

Just over a month away. All ford drag racing, car show and swap meet.  The 422 motorsports guys with there awesome Fe's . Ill be in the swap meet area Saturday and sunday selling some FE race stuff as well as some other junk. Its a good time every year and normally the weather is really nice. Theres a slight chance that the pale rider or one of the other Booze brothers cars may be there,  Charlie told me last year they still had all that stuff and could be blowing the dust off it soon for fun. Would be awesome seeing one of those galaxies busting off a mid 8 second run.

I'm sure you will be able to get it to work no prob. I had to fill the floor of my PSE runners quite a bit as well on the intake side to make the Cleveland 2v pro power sheet aluminium manifold work. I used epoxy as well so it would be easy to hog back out to 4v if needed. I have been using some stuff that came from a roundy round guy. He gave me a shoe box with several A and B tubes in it and I ha e used it for several years. There plain white tubes and when he gave it to me he called it Pro-Poxy. He worked at NASA and had gotten it from there. I have never been able to find any info on it because all they are are tubes with an A and a B on it. Unfortunately he passed  :-\ so I can't ask him. I have very little left.. truthfully it kinda looks like JB weld lol but it seems to bond well and I have never had an issue with it coming loose although I still will sometimes use a mig with .035 aluminum wire and just stick a few stakes for it to grip.

Thanks. Was just curious.
Mine to.
I had to drill the extra holes in jays only because I rely on them on the drivers side for my linkage.
Impatiently waiting on my block to be done. All aligned bored and decked. Only needing bored but Someone borrowed the torque plate though and wont have it back till Tuesday..  >:( . Maybe ill be sick a half day tomorrow and take the 90 ride and pick it up myself.  :P .
Don't you love how people borrow stuff then conveniently don't bring it back.. uggh.
Did you do the polishing yourself or you acquired it like that ? Looks nice..

Nice polishing job.. sweet.
Are both center manifold mounting holes drilled on your PSE or just one on either side like Jays adapter ?

I read in a old network 54 form where Barry mentioned that there was no issue cutting the tangs off the Cleveland main bearings to use in a factory block. If this is true i could possibly use the king xp main bearings. I'm using pro-gram billet main caps that have both set of tang registers anyway so id just have to do the block side ?
Again I'm just thinking and wondering and prob over thinking and I'm sure the FM 125m are just fine but I been using the king xp rod bearings..

Going through the dyno sheets here I did notice the majority used the fm 125m so I guess ill stick with that. I was just wondering.
Sometimes I tend to over think things.. uggh..  :-\

Factory block.  Drag racing.
Was suprised king didnt make a performance bearing for the fe.
I been useing the federal mogul bearings with good luck but was just wondering about other options and what others think.
With the scat crank I have had to clearance the thrust bearings anyway to get any end play at all. I normally shoot for .005  .
More or less end play for a hard hitting jerico ? ?

Recommendations on main bearings. What do you guys like to use for a all out race engine.  Are there any "P" series bearings available for the fe ?.

I have a couple of these blocks. Up side is that its a good beefy block with the exstra webbing and cast bosses for the cross bolts. Down side is both of mine have thin and inconsistent cylinder wall thickness, even thinner than alot of standard garden variety 390's.  .030 over bore max for the ones I have and unfortunately its going to take much more than that to clean one of them up.
