Is the Jerico a DR4 or DR4-4? The DR4-4 is the newer version, and there's a big difference.

Hey Doug is the difference mostly being able to get parts because the DR-4 is good I think to 800 to 1000 HP.  There arent many 800 Horse FEs. I ran one behind an 800 horse BBC (SORRY) in a 64 GTO.

How would a DR-4 work in a street/strip situation. I’ve never driven one so not sure about down shifting etc.

This does not have the road race sliders to provide slick downshifting, I'm personally not sure as I havent used one on the street but word is if you could drive grandpas old square tooth pick up or a dump truck(shift by rpm) which I can l,several have successfully driven on the street
