As bizarre as this sounds, I've had good luck with the Harbor Freight wire wheels. A lot of people tell me their abrasives and cutting tools are garbage, but honestly I haven't experienced that at all. Check to make sure the wheels are rated to whatever RPM you are using them at- I made the mistake once of putting a wheel on an angle grinder that was not rated for it, and that was a rough experience. I suppose a drill is relatively low-rpm, but it's still good practice.
The company I used to work for used Fastenal as a supplier for fabrication tools, hardware, etc. They almost exclusively used Blackstone and Weiler for wire wheels. We also used a lot of Norton and 3M for abrasives.
