It's going to be a very exciting year for the FE world and it's enuthsists. In the very, near future RPM Motorsports (Pond) will be releasing a new aluminum High Riser head and intake. After much research, development and engineering to produce the best product possible, the time has finally come that we've been waiting for.
The new head design offers the stock intake, exhaust port location and bolt pattern. Flow numbers are not yet available to release, but will be soon.
Stock rocker setups will bolt right on and work. The stock casting numbers are cast in for an original vintage look.
In addition to the cylinder heads, an 8v dual plane intake will be released and offered as well. While this intake will work the best with the heads, a stock ford intake will be able to be used as well.
Pictures, pricing and data will all be available soon and I'll post the information as soon as I have it. There will be more top quality performance parts being engineered and released after these, so stay tuned for more information.
I'll be sell these, contact me to be put on the list for the first run.

JMO,

I'm excited about the heads and intake by the way. I'd like to know more about them.

Super cool.
When you say stock intake and stock rockers, do you mean "stock hi riser" parts or stock FE parts?
Also, what bore is required with the valve spacing?

No sweat. Jay is in charge.
I am still super interested in more details about the heads and intake manifold. Sounds awesome.

Drew, stock hi riser stuff. The same valve spacing as a regular 427.
-
Sounds very exciting, I am hoping that the new heads will have a modern combustion chamber?
-
Are these stock replacement heads or improved heads with modern chamber and raised floor or any options like that available ??
-
Not stock replacement heads.
ALL information, pictures, data, prices and specs will be posted in the near future.
-
Will be watching for this!!! Not putting my name on a list till I see information and prices however.
-
Okay the heads are here as well as an updated version of the C4AE-F 8v Intake manifold to match the heads. The heads are $2250 a pair and the intake is $2250. Heads come with seats without guides.
I am very busy these days and don't have a lot of spare time to be online so if you are interested give me a call. Pics are posted on the FE Fanatics garage sale Facebook page - it won't let me upload them here.
Thanks,
Jack

Hopefully the people involved will chime in, but I just looked on the NHRA Racer page under the blueprint specs, and I don’t see anything yet about them being accepted. I would guess it’s being worked on, likely the wheels at NHRA turn slowly.
-
Blair Patrick has already sent one to NHRA for stock
-
Just spoke to Pond, they got approved. Forgot to ask what the weight penalty will be.
-
That's wonderful news!
-
We don't know what the hp (weight) penalty will be yet. It could be anywhere from zero to 10 hp. 10 hp is 80 lbs in A Stock. I think that would be the max hit. Hoping for 0 to 3 hp.....fingers crossed. NHRA just told Robert at Pomona this week that they were approved, but they have not decided the factor yet.
-
5hp
-
That being said Im wondering Blair, This setup with heads and intake and your work on ports do you think this will be a substantial horsepower increase. Or should I say a game changer!. So if its 5 HP does that mean 40 lbs. So you would have to make enough HP to cover the 40 lbs and then the rest is gravy. Im sure finding horsepower at that level is tough. Like a couple here a few there and they just add up?. Lets get the Stang going Blair!!!.

Any pics of these things?
-
Yes, on the FE Fanatics garage sale Facebook page, on Craigslist, or I can send you pics directly.

It's been 19 months now. Anyone have any flow figures they could share?
-
I don’t Facebook well, in fact every time I try to do the Facebook I get irritated within about 30 seconds. Guess I’m just too old, would it be that difficult to post some pics and info on this thread?
- edit, I was finally able to get to the correct faceplace page to look at the heads, they look very nice.
Are there plans to provide the heads with a modern combustion chamber ? Are there flow numbers and port volumes available?
It’s times like these I wish I could win the lottery....

My phone number is listed above, give me a call if you are interested.
Thanks
Jack

Has anyone laid eyes on these yet??

Yes many people have.
