MSD has finally started selling their pro-billet distributor for the FE with a steel gear already installed.  That should save us a lot of headaches in the future. https://www.holley.com/products/ignition/distributors/ford/pro-billet_distributors/parts/85941

I paid $3995 in November but that was purchasing through an engine builder rather than directly from BBM.

I used a Romac.  The timing marks were spot on and I didn't need to drill out the pulley holes.  I'm very happy with it.

Which exhaust pattern are the heads?  What intake are they designed to work with? I have a C7ZX which I am not going to cut for fitment.

These have 2 bolt exhaust.  They're medium rise heads and they've never been port matched.

I have a set of Edelbrock heads with a Keith Craft Stage II CNC porting job.  Valves are 2.19 and 1.75.  These heads have about 30,000 miles on them.  $1300 for the pair plus shipping.  Ships from California.  If you need further details, let me know.

FE Technical Forum / Re: Clutch Alignment Tools ?

I was using one of those cheap plastic alignment tools that came with my clutch assembly and it was crap. I spent hours trying to get the transmission installed but I couldn't get the input shaft to enter the pilot bushing no matter what I tried. I bought that Ram aluminum alignment tool and it made all the difference in the world.  It's a great piece.
