Blue Thunder valve cover spacers

Has anyone heard of, seen, or used a set of FE Blue Thunder valve cover spacers?
VCS-FE is the part number I think.
They are 1.2" thick, and I wonder if it would be possible to have them milled down thinner.

Also would you silicone them to the valve cover on top, and then use a regular gasket?

I've never used the spacers,  but DSC has them. He has the 1.200 and also 1/2 thickness spacers which are .600. Here is a link to the EBAY auction that just expired...

Kind of pricey I'm guessing, but look like a quality part. I would think you could double gasket them or maybe just silicone the spacer to the head, either way.

Hey, that's a great idea he's got there. I am actually only barely touching the Erson rocker shaft allen head bolts on the end with a .310 gasket.
So I would want to mill it down to around .25 inch. Maybe it's not possible, hard to tell without seeing one.

Or I was thinking I could double gasket with these:

They have rubber on one side and cork on the other. Maybe put the rubber up against the valve cover, and then put another one underneath it with the rubber up also.
What do you guys think?
