VC baffle
« on: June 04, 2020, 10:40:54 AM »
I have a fairly nice set of M/T valve covers that need a baffles added. Who ever cut the hole for the twist in breather for some reason is backwards, have to turn it to the right to loosen. It was done by hand with a butter knife I think, but it does work.  Other cover has just a round hole for a pcv. Running just breathers on both. Any recommendation for an add in baffle, all the ones I see are for chevys.

Something along these lines?

Even if you don't want to bolt it, you could use epoxy.

The baffles I use on my M/Ts on the dragster are just made from some scrap .030 aluminum.  Cut to fit, bend to suit.

  How did you attach them?

I'm going to order some and see how they fit.

Bosses on the underside where the hole get's punched.

I use this on the M/T covers on the dragster, with the vacuum pump.  On that, I found some NOS covers without holes, so I could seal up the motor and make just the one ven hole.

hmm I don't remember any raised areas to fasten to. Better pull them off and have a look. If that's the case I will just fab some up similar to what you have done out of some scrap.  Thanks!
