They say low 10’s, but who knows. I’m going to pull the 466 and put the Fe in it. Brent said the 466 may have more power. I don’t care, I think the 427 is more correct!

I agree with the 427 and beautiful car you bought. She’s sits perfect.

Thanks, it has a power glide in it now with a trans brake, solenoid shifter and delay box, Liberty gears are building me a toploader with face plated gears and imput shaft to use fuel disk clutch. I bought a clutch pedal setup on eBay. I need header recommendation, any thoughts? The Hooker super comp’s don’t seem big enough?

Beautiful car, congrats.
Yes 427, but we’re all a bit bias here.

Sell the blue one and build a black one!

That's a sharp car......

Needs a HR or a Cammer... I know an engine builder.........

Ha! Ha! Brent, just got the engine uncrated and you want to start a new one! I think I’ll install and try the 465” before I ask you to build more HP.

Just curious on what having a faceplated toploader costs these days. Unless it is significantly cheaper than finding a good used Jerico DR4 or a G Force G101A, or a 5 speed, I would really consider buying one of those. Stronger, easier shifting, lighter, and a wide array of available gear ratios are all pluses to me. Something to consider before you commit to it.

It’s a little less expensive than a used Jerrico, may be a mistake but I’ve already agreed and have them  building it. I’m thinking about a V gate type shifter, any thoughts on that?

I’ve also ordered some Ref headers for the car. I’d like to pull a little more weight off the front, thinking about Farman Fab tubular A arms. Has any of y’all tried them?
