I was lucky enough to see the car up close when it was at the NHRA museum for Fords 100 years of racing exhibit in 2003. Sure would have been cool to have seen it racing back in the day.

I remember many years ago you could walk right up to that car in the Henry Ford museum and really eyeball it closely.

The pictures of the fiberglass (probably glass) mockup in the wind tunnel is the first time I've seen that picture.  It is sitting on four load cells to measures the aerodynamic forces in WT#2.  I used to know a guy who worked on the car, he might be the guy in the sweater with the glasses.
